Small rollers are one of the leading products of Horizont Machinery, and there are many types. Next, I will mainly introduce the differences between static rollers and vibratory rollers.
Static rollers rely on their own weight to compact materials with static pressure, and there are two types: smooth roller and tire.
Pay attention to the following items during use.
1. When braking in an emergency, you must first step down the main clutch pedal to cut off the power, then step on the brake pedal, otherwise, the brake will be easily damaged. When releasing the brake, first release the brake pedal, and then release the main clutch pedal to resume driving.
2. For rollers with a differential lock device, the device should be placed in the differential position during normal operation so that the machine can turn and avoid damage to the road surface; When slipping, the device can be placed in the locked position to help the machine overcome rear wheel slippage and get over obstacles.
3. When shifting gears before going uphill, the machine must stop, and when going downhill, it should be in low gear.
4. It is strictly forbidden to make sharp turns when driving at high speed.
Vibratory rollers rely on the combined action of roller static pressure and vibratory forces to compact materials. There are towed, hand-held, and self-propelled types.
Pay attention to the following items during use.
1. When changing the driving speed, the clutch or reversing clutch must be disengaged before the shifting handle can be pulled to shift gears.
2. When changing the driving direction, first turn the reversing handle from the forward (reverse) position to the neutral position, and then turn the handle to the backward (forward) position after the machine stops. Do not pull it in place at one time, so as not to damage the machine parts due to a sudden change of driving direction.
3. During the operation, if the reversing clutch or the vibration clutch is found to be slipping, stop the machine immediately and disengage the main clutch. At the same time, check, adjust, and troubleshoot the reversing or vibration clutch. Do not increase the accelerator to try to drive with high speed and high power, otherwise, the clutch plate will be burned.
4. The start or stop of the vibration of the road roller should be carried out during operation to avoid damage to the road surface. It is strictly forbidden to vibrate on hard roads, so as not to damage the shock-absorbing device or other parts.
