The small vibration roller compactor can play an important role in the road construction project, helping the majority of construction personnel to efficiently carry out compaction operations. The equipment itself is small in size, so it can be applied to the narrow construction area for compaction operations. It will not be restricted by the working space, the compaction operation process is flexible. In our usual use process, we can not ignore the maintenance of the equipment. We should do the corresponding maintenance work to make the small vibration roller compactor work more efficiently.

1. Regularly apply lubricating oil to each part of the small vibration roller compactor and each bearing part to ensure that the equipment can get good lubrication effect. We should choose the appropriate lubricating oil according to the construction environment and other factors, which can effectively reduce the wear and tear between parts and prolong the service life of parts.

2. Before the construction of the small vibration roller compactor, we should carefully check whether the parts of the fuselage are connected properly. Tighten loose parts in time to prevent falling off during machine operation. Besides, we need to replace the aging and badly worn parts in time to ensure the normal operation of the machine.

3. After the end of the operation of the small vibration roller compactor, we should remove the asphalt, concrete and other impurities remaining on the steel wheel to keep the steel wheel clean, and then we should clean the whole machine. Next step we will place the small vibration roller compactor on the flat ground to ensure that the next operation is more smooth.

4. Maintenance of Parts and Components

4.1 Maintenance of Gearbox

The gearbox should be cleaned at least once a season. When cleaning, first of all, we should stop and unscrew the oil drain plug at the side of the gearbox in the hot state, release the lubricating oil in the box, and then screw the oil plug on. Then we fill the box with kerosene, start the diesel engine, make the gearbox run at a low speed for 2-3 minutes, stop the car, drain the kerosene, clean the oil plug and screw it on the gearbox (Note: the kerosene must be cleaned to avoid the lubricating oil mixing with the residual kerosene and losing the lubrication effect). Then we add new oil to it until the oil level reaches the marked line of the dipstick. We should often pay attention to checking the leakage of each seal of the gearbox, and replace the seal in time if it is damaged.

Besides, we should regularly check the connection bolts between the gearbox and the frame, and tighten them when necessary to prevent the parts from loosening and falling off.

4.2Maintenance of the Hydraulic System

We should timely check whether the installation bolts of the filter, valve, motor, oil pump, oil cylinder, etc. of the machine are loose and whether the joints are leaking oil. Then we need to observe the oil level gauge on the side of the tank. When the hydraulic oil is too low, filtered hydraulic oil of the same brand should be added. The hydraulic oil tank needs to be cleaned and changed in half a year. Do not mix impurities and dirt into the oil tank when adding or changing oil. The new oil added or changed must be filtered out in advance.

4.3 Maintenance of the Vibrating Wheel

Vibrating wheels need to be lubricated every 1000 hours. We should check at any time whether the vibration wheel lubricating oil leakage; When we check the oil level, we should turn the refueling port to the top and then open the oil port to make the oil leak to no leakage or less leakage. When we maintain the vibrating wheel, we should replace the lubricating oil of the vibrating wheel, and pay attention to cleaning when changing the oil.

4.4 Maintenance of the Main Clutch

In addition to paying attention to adjusting its control mechanism at any time, the main clutch should also pay attention to checking whether the end of its 3 separation rods is located in the same plane, and make it maintain a certain gap with the separation bearing (0.4 ~ 0.7 mm). The main clutch engagement and disengagement should be smooth and gentle operation, not too hard. We must make the clutch pedal return to the original position when the clutch engages so that the clutch is fully engaged. When we disengage the clutch, we must step the pedal to the end to make the clutch completely disengage. When we operate, we must prevent the clutch from being in a half-clutch and half-engaged state, so as not to burn out the clutch. Also, we should always check the main clutch, to avoid the surface of the friction plate and pressure plate being contaminated with oil.

4.5 Maintenance of the Side Drive

Due to low speed, large load, and easy to be contaminated by dust, mud, and sand, the side drive should always pay attention to check its lubrication. We should regularly remove the mud, sand, and fine stone dust dirt on the gear, and coat it with a new layer of calcium-based grease to avoid damage accidents.

4.6 Maintenance of Battery

Battery use for a long time, such as due to improper use and maintenance, common electro-hydraulic specific gravity is low, charging voltage is high, the discharge voltage is a low phenomenon, and the existing white crystal particles found outside the plate, the formation of the battery "acid salt", which can not be applied, the acid battery, light can be used small current after 1-2 charging can be restored to normal. Under normal conditions, the generator of the diesel engine is sufficient to fully charge the battery, but in the winter, the battery should be taken care of to keep it full often to avoid freezing.

4.7 Maintenance of Diesel Engine

Diesel engine maintenance should be in accordance with the diesel engine service maintenance instructions for roller lubrication. Roller lubrication hinged and steering cylinder at both ends of the use of pressure resistant lithium lubricant, the rest of the need to use ordinary lubricants.

Plate Compactors

Vibratory plate compactor as a kind of pavement machinery, the small and medium-sized plate tamper appears trouble in the construction process. So what should we do? Small vibratory plate compactor is used for subgrade edge, bridge culvert, pipe, trench bottom and other narrow compaction tool. But there are some engineering personnel in the construction of some wrong operation, will increase our construction costs, so how should we maintain a good plate tamper? This requires our reasonable use:

1. We should do a good job of lubrication. A lot of construction machinery failures are caused by lubrication. Good lubrication can maintain normal working clearance and appropriate working temperature, reduce parts wear, extend the service life of machinery and reduce maintenance costs. Therefore, we should use lubricating oil reasonably and pay attention to the use of inferior products.

2. Construction machinery should work within a reasonable range and not exceed the normal working load. Mechanical wear increases when parts are subjected to more than their load. In addition, when other conditions are the same, the stable load has less wear, less failure and shorter life than the dynamic load.

3. If any abnormality is found during the use of small vibratory plate compactor, the operation should be stopped immediately and the fault should be checked. And every time we use to timely maintenance, check whether there is a fault. If found, we need to repair immediately, or call the manufacturer.

4. We need to check whether the vibratory plate compactor circuit is in line with the requirements of use, grounding wire is correctly connected. In particular, it is necessary to check whether the eccentric wheel and pulley are installed firmly and whether the work is reliable.

5. For inexperienced construction personnel to carry out correct operation, in order to reduce and prevent human error caused by mechanical failure. To maintain the machine carefully, do the right, regular maintenance. In addition, we also need to keep the machine clean, check the technical status of the machine regularly, and deal with anomalies in time. Accessories that need to be replaced should also be replaced in time.

Vibratory Rammers

1. Vibratory rammers are suitable for complying with loose materials such as clay, sand, and gravel, and will not work on cement pavement and other hard ground.

2. Key check items before the operation will meet the following requirements:

2.1 All components are well connected and not loose;

2.2 The internal combustion impact rammers has enough lubricating oil, and the throttle controller rotates flexibly;

2.3 The electric impact rammers have reliable zero connection or grounding, and the cable surface is well insulated.

3. After the internal combustion impact rammers start, the internal combustion engine should idle for 3 ~ 5min, and then we can gradually increase the throttle until the rammers beats stable, it can be operated.

4 electric impact rammers in the power start, should check the motor rotation direction, there is an error that should be reversed phase line.

5. When working, the tamping machine should be correctly mastered, not tilted, the hand should not be held too tight, and the forward speed of the tamping machine can be controlled.

6. In Normal operation,  we cannot hard to press down the handle which affects the rammers' jump height. When working on the loose filler or uphill, the hand can be slightly pressed down, and it should be able to increase the forward speed of the rammers.

7. In the need to increase the compactness of the place, it can be controlled by the hand tamping machine in situ repeatedly tamping.

8. According to the operation requirements, the internal combustion impact rammers should change the vibration frequency of the rammer in a certain range by adjusting the size of the accelerator.

9. Internal combustion impact rammers are not suitable for continuous operation at high speed. Do not stop when the internal combustion engine is running at high speed.

10. Electric impact rammer should be equipped with a leakage protection device, operators must wear insulation gloves, wear insulation shoes. During the operation, the cable should not be pulled too tight, we should often check the installation of the wire, not lose, and cause leakage. It is strictly prohibited to work in the rain.

11. In the operation, when the impact rammers have an abnormal sound, they should be stopped immediately for an inspection.

12. When the short distance transfer, the impact rammer should be lifted, the transport wheel into the hook of the impact rammer, and then press the hand, so that the center of gravity tilts back. Then we can promote the hand transfer impact rammer.

13. After the operation, the mud and sand, and attachments on the tamping plate should be removed, and the tamping machine should be kept clean and properly kept.

Concrete Saws

1. Before using it, we should check and confirm that the motor and cable are normal, the protection is well grounded, the protective device is safe and effective, the saw blade selection meets the requirements, and the installation is correct.

2. After starting, it should run without load, we should check and confirm that the saw blade running direction is correct, the lifting mechanism is flexible, there is no abnormal sound in operation, and all is normal before operation.

3. The operator should press the workpiece with both hands and feed evenly. When pushing the cutting machine, it should not be too hard. Do not wear gloves during the operation.

4. The cutting thickness will be carried out under the provisions of the factory nameplate of the machine, and super thick cutting will not be allowed.

5. When the workpiece is sent 300mm apart from the saw blade or cutting small pieces of material, special tools should be used for feeding, and the material should not be pushed directly by hand.

6. During the operation, when the workpiece has impact, beating, and abnormal sound, it should be stopped immediately for inspection and troubleshooting before continuing the operation.

7. It is strictly prohibited to check and repair all parts in operation. The debris on the saw table and in the saw joints of components should be removed with special tools in time, and should not be picked up or wiped by hand.

8. After the operation, the fuselage should be cleaned, the saw blade should be dried, the remaining water from the water tank should be discharged, and the cable should be recovered and stored in a dry and ventilated place.

Concrete Mixers

To ensure the mixing quality of concrete, it is required that the concrete mixture is mixed, the mixing time is short, the discharge is fast, the residual amount is less, the energy consumption is low and the pollution is less. The main factors affecting the mixing quality of a small concrete mixer are the structure of the mixer. The ratio of the feeding capacity of the mixer to the geometric volume of the mixing drum, the feeding procedure, and the position of the mixture. The configuration of the mixing blade and the geometric Angle of the arrangement. The mixing speed and the wear condition of the blade lining, etc.

Maintenance of small concrete mixers:

1. Keep the body clean and remove the dirt and obstacles on the body.

2. Check the oil, circuit, and control equipment at each lubrication place, and fill with lubricating oil as required.

3. Before each shift, idle with water in the stirring cylinder for 1-- 2 min, while checking the reliability of the clutch and brake device.

4. During the operation of the concrete mixer, it is necessary to check whether the noise of the motor, reducer, and transmission gear is normal and whether the temperature rise is too high.

5. After each shift, the concrete mixer should be carefully cleaned.

Water Pumps

1. Change the oil

Change the oil for the first time after the first month or 20 hours of use, and then every six months or 300 hours after use.

2. Air oil filter maintenance

Clean the filter element with a solution that is not easy to burn or with a high ignition point, and dry it thoroughly; The filter element is then dipped in clean oil, the excess oil is squeezed out, and the filter is refilled.

3. Spark plug maintenance

Visually check whether the spark plug has obvious wear or the insulation ring is cracked and notched. If there is any problem, replace the spark plug with a new one. Measure the spark plug gap with the plug gauge, and the gap is 0.70-0.80mm. If not, you need to adjust the electrode to correct the gap and remove carbon deposits.

4. Store

If the gasoline engine water pump is not used for a long time, when the last use is stopped, the first carburetor oil inlet valve is closed, so that the gasoline engine water pump will automatically turn off (if not used for a long time, there is gasoline in the carburetor will damage the carburetor). Clean the impeller chamber from the water inlet pipe until the sediment is removed. Finally, the remaining fuel in the tank is discharged into a special container for proper storage. The machine should be stored in a cool, ventilated, and dry place.
