How to deal with potholes in cement floor

Cement is one of the most common building materials in our daily life. It is widely used in house construction and road laying, but many people don't know much about cement. For example, how to deal with potholes on the cement floor?

How to deal with the potholes on the concrete floor

1. First, treat the base layer, clean the sand and dust on it, and rinse it with clean water to ensure that the base layer is firm, free of oil and dust, and will not generate sand, cracks, and faults.
2. The next step is the primer. After there is no clear water on the ground, evenly apply part of the glue to the parts that need to be repaired to increase the viscosity of the base layer. After 5 minutes, you can proceed to the next step.
3. Then prepare high-strength cement repair material, pour various materials into the container, use a stirrer to stir evenly, and ensure no agglomeration.
Be careful not to make too much repairing material at one time, because usually it will be used up within 15 minutes after making it. When the temperature is high in summer, if you find that the prepared patch becomes viscous, you can add some seasonings and continue to stir for use.
4. When filling potholes, the thickness of the patch should not be greater than 5 mm. After filling with the patch, be careful to smooth and compact it. If the patch is thicker than one centimeter, we can add an appropriate amount of stones.

What are the precautions for cement floor maintenance?

1. Because the repair material usually dries quickly, we must control the time when calendering to ensure that it can be done at one time.
2. After the repair material is completely dry, we can use a grinder to polish off the repair material protruding from the surface.
3. During construction, we must cover the film for maintenance if the weather is too hot.
