What is retaining walls?
Retaining walls can hold dirt or other materials in place. It does this by artificially separating the soil so that the empty space of the soil can be used.

Foundation is to provide support for the structure, the purpose of foundation engineering is to transfer the original pressure to the soil layer or rock layer with enough bearing capacity. How does a plate compactor work?
The vibratory rollers and vibratory plate compactor can be used to strengthen the foundation in making the retaining wall. In practical application, after the completion of the basic construction, the retaining wall needs to use the soil to withstand a certain amount of pressure. In order for the foundation to be stable, the soil must be compacted, so the vibratory rollers and plate compactors comes into play here, it can bring the soil up to the standard density, and thus meet the standard of compacting.
