Scarifiers are an important pavement treatment tool which can be used to repair broken or uneven surfaces in order to reduce the risk factor of travelling in a vehicle. Therefore, it is often used to remove road obstacles and prepare for subsequent road repairs. The main component in which Scarifiers play a role is the cutting blade which allows Scarifiers to have the role of cutting the concrete surface to create a more uniform surface.

How do scarifiers work in traffic line removal ?

Scarifiers are often used to clear traffic lines on roads and highways. And the procedure is relatively simple. The first step is to mark the area where the traffic line needs to be removed. Markers are used to indicate the exact spot where the traffic line needs to be removed. This allows the scarifier operator to know exactly where to place the machine to do the job. Once the area is marked the scarifier is driven onto the marked area. The scarifier is then lowered to the road surface. A blade on the bottom of the machine is then used to cut into the asphalt or concrete surface. The scarifier then begins to move back and forth across the marked area, cutting into the surface and removing the material.
