Plate compactor is light construction equipment consisting of a large, flat metal plate at the base mounted on an engine-driven frame. The working principle of the vibratory plate compactor is very simple. It generates compaction force by vibrating the metal plate at a high frequency along the surface of the material(soil). The general plate compaction force can reach 20KN. Through the vibration of 5000tims/min, the materials(soil) become denser and more closely packed together, thus improving the strength and stability.
Plate compactors are commonly used in road construction, sidewalk paving, and landscaping. They are also used to install retaining walls, backfill pools, parks, cemeteries, and golf courses. Also used for leveling and compacting sand, gravel, and soil in industrial and agricultural applications.
Our HAFP80 is an asphalt plate compactor equipped with a 5.5HP Honda engine. The compaction depth can reach 30cm.
The plate compactor is easy to transport, and it is often equipped with 2 rollers at the rear. When the rollers are removed and placed on the bottom of the plate compactor, it can be easily pushed and pulled by one person to move to the working position.
At the same time, the operation of the plate compactor is also extremely easy, and it can be used after turning on the engine, and there is a switch to adjust the engine speed on the hand lever.
Plate compactors are ideal for use in tight spaces and create smooth, level surfaces in a relatively short amount of time. Of course, we also provide oversized bottom plates for customers to choose from.
